This is the weekend that everyone was waiting for. The time
where everybody comes back to Gainesville to have liq pumping through their veins for a constant 72 hours
before Gainesville returns to its old boring self again. This was probably our
last trip to FISS, but Gainesville put on a great weekend that was probably one
of the best FISS shows in recent memory.
And for some of us, we done seen like 7 or 8 FISS shows, because you know, the
way my grades are set up...

Khia on Kampus
(Source)
Somebody get they Auntie. Pictures recently hit the Internet
of once relevant female rap artist Khia, draping our precious Orange & Blue
over a bulldog covered in ugly tattoos. WHAT IN THE ENTIRE FUCK. Apparently,
the pictures are a bid for Grandma "Thugmissess" to run for
homecoming queen. No, really. Somebody from FAMU must have set us up.

Celeb Concert Series: Kendrick Lamar
Monday
marked the last big event of BHM. Kendrick Lamar and Melanie Fiona were in
concert at the O'Dome, making the stadium packed after being completely empty
the week prior at FISS. The BHM Concert is the last major event during the
month, and BSU made sure to make it epic.

FISS Fiasco
Well the most coveted weekend in BHM brought lots of
excitement to our little Titletown, and the energy left promptly with the last dumb girl
who woke up next to some random Frat ninja at the Red Roof Inn the next
morning, and then quickly went on her way. And just like those girls that woke up
half-naked not knowing where they were, we felt the same way once FISS Weekend
was over.

2DarkBros
Above is the picture that was circulating around Black People Twitter and White Bro Facebook
yesterday. It shows 2 Bros being Bros and dressing up as a cross between the
Jersey Shore cast and Soulja Boy.
Apparently,
some IFC Frat was hosting a CMT vs.BET Party because they couldn't come up with
any better ideas. For those of you not in the know, CMT is Mitt Romney's
official cheerleading TV Station. Sorry Fox News. They play all the big jams
like "She Thinks My Tractor's Sexy". You might have heard it playing
outside the club painted like a cow on your way to Club Element, or whatever
they decide to call The Venue that month.

Vote Or Die
We just can't get away from this voting thing, The Black
Community. We just got finished with Student Government elections, the
Presidential Election is in full swing, and with Soulfest around the corner,
The Black Community is faced with the most important of all elections, BSU
Homecoming Court.

The "Underworld"
Well, here we are again The Black Community. We told you that the concept of Undercover Brothers was a hotly debated topic. Since our post on Wednesday, this topic has generated more discussion from our community than the evils of Student Government, the FBK Illuminati, Celebrity Greeks, the failures of FAMU, and typical Relationship Forums combined. The arguments were even intelligent and well written. UF must be forcing English classes into the curriculum. The comments section was more live than The Set. Legions of anons were down there letting us know how they feel. Pause.

Tragedy Pt.2 - Black & Blue Keys
Yesterday we talked about the Tragedy that is the political system on campus. In a post so long that even our History professors would wince at, we described how the voting machine is a rigged system. The “Too Long, Didn’t Read” summary from yesterday is this: The SG Illuminati already has a set agenda, and it doesn't involve The Black Community. But in order to look diverse, and garner some easy votes, they tap some figureheads in order to get The Black Community mobilized into thinking we are working for a good cause. Throw a few Black Senators into the mix, and the perfect illusion is created. But at the top of the SG Illuminati food chain, are the masterminds behind the whole project, Florida Blue Key.

A Political Tragedy in 2 Parts
It’s voting season, The Black Community, and that means you’re about to be annoyed more than ever before. The only rival to be more annoying than campus politicians are those damn Humans vs. Zombie nerds. And even then, you get to see the dorks get randomly tackled in broad daylight. But with this voting season, you can't win. It’s now impossible to even walk to class without 4 campus politicians invading your personal space.
