Celeb Concert Series: Kendrick Lamar



Monday marked the last big event of BHM. Kendrick Lamar and Melanie Fiona were in concert at the O'Dome, making the stadium packed after being completely empty the week prior at FISS. The BHM Concert is the last major event during the month, and BSU made sure to make it epic.

FISS Fiasco



Well the most coveted weekend in BHM brought lots of excitement to our little Titletown, and the energy left promptly with the last dumb girl who woke up next to some random Frat ninja at the Red Roof Inn the next morning, and then quickly went on her way. And just like those girls that woke up half-naked not knowing where they were, we felt the same way once FISS Weekend was over.

It's the greatest month of the year, The Black Community, and we must savor it because it will be gone in the blink of an eye. Black History Month is upon us. Let's take the opportunity to support our community because lord knows the rest of UF ain't worried about it.

BHM Trends (That Should Die)


For some reason this year, The Black Community, we used Black History Month as a time to make complete fools of ourselves. Today marks the end of one of the most painful Black History Months in recent history. It seemed like Black Folks were losing every day. You’d log on to Black People Twitter and see a black icon like Whitney Houston or the Pimp that invented Soul Train had passed away. Or some hoodrats were fighting over some McNuggets at your local burger joint. Or a Black Pornstar had contracted AIDS. (R.I.P. Pinky...) World Star Hip Hop had record views this month. The rest of the world could only look on in disgust. Below are some trends that made us give a big “SMH!” to The Black Community.
