Valentine’s Day is The Great Façade of The Black Community. That special day of the year in which more lying occurs than any Student Government campaign. Redbox’s around town will be completely sold out, as Men continue to trick dumb girls into believing they are special. If he comes home holding a red disc and a value meal from Taco Bell, he don’t love you. Meanwhile, unsuspecting Females are being hit with the realization that they are the side chick, even after her “Him” told her she was the only one. On this day Females’ Bullshit Radar is compromised, so Ninjas are feeding females lines straight from Tyler Perry movies to get their 15 minutes of passion on before saying the exact same thing to the next sucker.

The "Underworld"

Well, here we are again The Black Community. We told you that the concept of Undercover Brothers was a hotly debated topic. Since our post on Wednesday, this topic has generated more discussion from our community than the evils of Student Government, the FBK Illuminati, Celebrity Greeks, the failures of FAMU, and typical Relationship Forums combined. The arguments were even intelligent and well written. UF must be forcing English classes into the curriculum. The comments section was more live than The Set. Legions of anons were down there letting us know how they feel. Pause.

Undercover Brothers

In our post on “The Relationship Problem” there was a discussion in the comments section about Black Women choosing better men to solve the problem, as if that would ever happen. Anonymous left a comment saying “Yeah because we have soooo many options”. We took that to mean “There aren’t any more Athletes to choose from”. They certainly aren’t getting on the guys that live in Marston, if anyone even has the courage to walk in that library without fear of a black eye. So where have all the eligible black men gone? Women are framing this as if there was a Black Man shortage, and we believe them too, by the looks of The Set. Ask any woman where the good men are, and she’ll tell you they’re either in Tyler Perry movies or Gay.

The Relationship Problem

We come upon one of the most hotly debated topics ever to hit the campus, The Black Community. The only other rival to is the debate as to when The Set died. This is that miraculous topic that organizations reach for when they have no other ideas for programming. No other topic has created so much hate, hurt so many feelings, and created as many bitter women as the Relationship Issue.

What We Love: ShoneTV

It’s Monday, The Black Community, and that means it’s time for our favorite type of programming. Shone TV. Love or hate it, but the TV shows focused on privileged women with loose morals and bad tempers are all the rage in The Black Community. BET never had such good ratings until they started airing “The Game”. It’s about time they showed something other than nonstop reruns of Leprechaun 3. VH1, MTV, and even the “women upliftment channels” Bravo, Oxygen and Lifetime have cashed in on this phenomenon. Damn. It’s the life we all wish to lead, but don’t want to tell anyone. It's easier to just watch it on TV in the comfort of our own living rooms.
